comprehension of the subject matter and to create a relevancy
between what is being taught and how the students are learning
the subject matter. In Regards to Language Arts students are
being encouraged to become critical thinkers and to provide
facts and evidence to support their reasoning and claims.

for the students to learn how to use the lessons learned in the
classroom to translate into the real world. Common core
promotes better conceptual understanding. Common core
