Rationale:
The premise of the story is about an Asperger boy discovering the truth
behind the death of his neighbors dog. After his parents separated, his
father (Ed) had been lying about mothers (Judy) death, until Christopher
found out all the letters in fathers room, which his mother written to him.
After Judy had an affair with their neighbour, Mr. Shears, and they
escaped, she still writing letters to Christopher all the time but Ed never
showed them to Christopher nor mentioning about it. It seems to be a
punishment to Judy.
I will be using a letter format, writing as Ed to Judy. Writing a letter
actually reflects fathers personal opinions and reflection of emotions
under certain circumstances. It reflects how much father cares about his
son and how irritated he is after his wife had left. In order to reflect his
personality, swear words and inappropriate languages are used in the
same way they used in the novel. After Judys left, Ed took over the role of
being a father and a mother by himself. Even though he is emotional, he
just didn't want the family to break apart. He wanted to protect his son
and ensure that he is living under a good and safe environment.
The aim of the letter is to develop an understanding of Ed to the readers
since he is one of the most important character as a murderer and father.
It helps him to revoke his angriness, hatred; and expose his emotion
straightforward without being interrupted.

Hi Judy,
What the bloody hell are you doing? Even though we argue a lot, theres
no point in you leaving. Why the fuck are you doing all these horrific
things to our family? Cant you just be considerate? As a mother, have
you ever think of the consequences before you leave? How about our
bloody son! He fucking needs you!!! Why do you have to leave him
behind just for a god damn dickhead? I don't see any part of him more
important than Christopher. Our son, you know that he needs extra
patience and caring from parents. You know that! Why the fuck cant you
just be patience and keep calm to our boy! The biggest problem is that
you gave him up, escape from the realities and shirk all your
responsibilities towards me.
We all know Christopher is extraordinary, what the hell do you expect!
You should accept this instead of blaming why Christopher is like this.
Wake up and fucking face it, dont bull shit if Christopher had been
different, you may had been better at it. The reason why you wrote letter
to our son is just making up random excuses to comfort yourself. Its your
fault to be unfaithul, the point is that you dont have to say that its ok for
me and your son living on our own. A family with out a mother is never
okay!!! You are so selfish and inability, like what happened in Bentalls
while you were Christmas shopping with Christopher. You know that he
fucking hates crowded places and get frightened because of the people
around him. Yet, you immediately getting cross with him and grabbing
him to leave. Dont you know that this just make things even worse?
Once you hear him screaming and shouting, you just lose your temper
instead of comforting him. Think positive and be fair!!! If you really didnt
know how to handle with Christopher, you should go to seek the
professional advices, not just spending lots of time with that fucking guy.
Taking care of Christopher is bloody challenging, but is being patient and
considerate that bloody hard!
Feeling lonely is not an excuse to cheat on me. Have you ever thought of
what is your own problem before complaining about your bloody helpless
and hopeless life with us? It is your life, you can fucking choose what you
want. You should be grateful to have a complete family, with a husband
and a son who loved you. You always complain that no one understands
you except Roger. However, did you really understand Christopher? You
just resisted to accept his conditions and sometimes his inappropriate
behaviors.
Well, your choice may be fucking beneficial to all three of us. Christopher
will no longer suffer from your impatience. If you want to do something
about it, all you can do is, don't ever disturb him from now on. No matter
what you do, Christopher wont give a shit about you, he will continue
concentrating on his Mathematics and Physics. I strongly believe that he
will have a brighter and happier future without a shitty mother.

Just stop stop writing letters to us, we assume that you are fucking dead!
