An unprecedented resurgence of ork forces during M37 in the Aurelian system prompted battlefield commanders to produce an Adeptus
Astartes tank that could withstand a beating and eliminate vast numbers of enemy infantry with little effort. The result was the Rikarius
Pattern Razorback, named after Yriel Rikarius, 2nd Captain of the Blood Ravens, whose connections with High Magos MLell of Mars,
ensured that the revised Razorback STC was quickly fabricated and put into service alongside the embattled Blood Ravens. Mounted with
a variety of weapons typical of an Adeptus Astartes Razorback, it sacrificed all of its transport capacity to instead come equipped with
hurricane bolters and a siege shield. The added protection staved off the threat of xenos bomb squigs and power-klaws alike. Squadrons of
these fast tough vehicles have since served innumerable Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes, waging war across the Imperium to save mankind
from all xenos threats. In the intervening centuries their numbers have dwindled and the STC lost. Any of these vehicles found in a space
marine army are relics of another age and prized machines that are given the utmost care.
