Tech Team Meeting 9/9/16

Issues/ Concerns/ Suggestions

1. Media Carts (3 carts) with printer access in the media center (Mathew)
2. Decision on location of laptop carts and check out processes (Will stay in the
media center- Dr. Black will send a note to the teachers- composed and sent
for review to Dr. Black)
3. Missing computers. 2- Robin Owen (Dr. Black, Mathew-Serial numbers
required, Rehak is investigating)
4. Work flow for Google password reset- Tuesday and Friday (Christy)
5. Training schedule for Christy- Tuesday/ Friday each planning
6. Ticket Closure- GREAT JOB MATHEW! Feedback-Teachers LOVE him!
7. Tech needs on event days (Jones-Buell will notify Mathew for coverage and
needs)
8. Printing for posters process (Mathew will price ink and paper. Rebecca- Tina
Sink has requested for classroom rules, Alg II FAQ and Schedule. Dr. Black
will confirm this type of printing is okay with Dr. Taylor)
9. Website Review (Rebecca, Mathew and Christy- Aids will come to Christys
Office 8th block for review)
10.Counseling website updates (Christy will meet with Fellers today)
11.Clubs and Activities website updates (Christy will discuss during content
meetings next week)
12.Tech Team Committee nominees- Carla Youmans, Stephanie Dever, Danielle
Malcom, Erica Mayes, Ellie Byerly, Christen Funderburk (invitations sent)
13.Georgia Milestones End of Course Test set up for Monday (Mathew- Email sent
to IMD for directions)
14.AdvancedEd (SAC) committee members (Christy, Rebecca, Mathew have
been asked to join with Dr. Black) Meeting October 10 th. This will take place
as part of the tech team meeting.
15.Inventory for technology will be managed by Mathew, Christy and Rebecca.
16.Library usagea. Students not staying for tutoring will not be allowed to stay in the
media center past 2:35 PM.
b. Students will not be allowed to hang out during lunch. Working
students during lunch will be allowed to stay. Students are only
allowed to enter during the first 5 minutes during lunch All students
entering after the first 5 minute will need a pass. Students will be

asked to leave if they are not actively working, researching, or reading

a book.
c. Students who are tutoring with Dr. Thurmond will be escorted by 4 PM
by Dr. Thurmond through the front door. Rebecca will be locking the
doors as she leaves each day.
d. Students will not be re-admitted after they leave the media center.
