* Psychology majors should plan to take one of the following MATH sequences, depending on placement:
-If placed into MATH 099 (SAT-M < 440 or SAT-II Math < 430 or ACT-M < 16 or Math Dept. Algebra Placement < 15):
Take MATH 099, then MATH 101, then MATH 102, then MATH 224
Note that MATH 099 does not count towards the 120 hours required for graduation.
-If placed into MATH 101 (SAT-M 440-480 or SAT-II Math 430-460 or ACT-M 16-18 or Math Dept. Algebra Placement 15-19):
Take MATH 101, then MATH 102, then MATH 224
-Students placed into a higher level than MATH 101 should consult with an academic advisor regarding more advanced MATH
course options that may be substituted for the basic degree requirements in Psychology.
