November Homework Week 4

Math:
a. Make a tally chart of different objects in your
house (ex: windows, doors, TVs, etc.) Count
the objects and complete the chart. Which
group has more. Which one has less?
b. Practice counting by 10s to 100 and by 5s to
100. Practice counting as high as possible. See
if your child can count to 100. Also, practice
counting backwards from 20.
c. Thanksgiving Holiday Enjoy the break!
d. Thanksgiving Holiday Enjoy the break!
e. Thanksgiving Holiday Enjoy the break!
Writing and Reading:
a. Write the word THANKSGIVING on a piece of
paper. Circle all the vowels with red. Circle all
the consonants blue. Count each one. Are
there more vowels or consonants? How many
are there all together?
b. Write one sentence about how you want to
spend your Thanksgiving break. Be sure to
start the sentence with a capital letter and use
punctuation. Sound out each word as best as
possible. Illustrate that sentence. T

d. Thanksgiving Holiday Enjoy the break!

f. READ OR LISTEN TO A STORY EVERY NIGHT.
