Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge):
- ask students question about the tittle, what do you think what is place value? Explain the tittle
for them they present it as a house number and start the first activity and let them listen to the
number that I say and write it on their whiteboard. Also show them the cubes and let them
know that 5 in ones mean 5 cubes but 5 in tens mean 50 cubes.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):
- do the first activity one the bored that they will put the cubes behind the number, and then
they will work individually with cubes and whiteboard to present any number.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):
- do the last activity individually after that I will do it with them on the bored.
