PREPARATION OF HERBAL SOAP

Material required:Caustic soda- 125gm

Neem oil- 500ml
Water- 500ml.
Stainless steel vessel- 1
Stirrer-1
Moulds
Method:Caustic soda is added to water & neem oil & it is continuously stirred,
till it becomes somewhat thick. Then it is poured into the mould of
desired shape & kept for 24 to 48 hrs to get dried.
Observations:When all ingredients are mixed & stirred, the steel vessel was hot.
Colour- reddish brown initially & finally it becomes yellow.
Prepared soaps were yellow in colour.
