Use
Youcandefinebindingsfromtheeventcontainertothefollowingcontainers:
Taskcontainer
Workflowcontainer
Theeventmaycontaininformationthatyouwanttouseintheworkflow.Ifso,youmustreadthisinformation
fromtheeventcontainerfortheevent.Inorderfortheinformationthatistransportedaseventparametersin
thecontainerforthiseventtoreachtheworkflow,youcandefinethebindingfromtheeventcontainertothe
workflowcontainerinthewaitstep.

Thisbindingcanbedefinedatthefollowingplaces:
Inthedefinitionofthemultisteptaskonthetabpage Triggeringevents
IntheWorkflowBuilderinthebasicdataoftheworkflowonthetabpage Start
IntheWorkflowBuilderinthestepdefinitionofawaitsteponthetabpage Control
Thisbindingenablesyoutotransfereventparametersofatriggeringeventoraneventforwhichtheworkflow
waitsduringexecutionintotheworkflow.

Youcanonlyuseimportelementsoftheworkflowcontainerinabindingdefinitionfromeventparameters
ofatriggeringeventtoelementsoftheworkflowcontainer.

Thisbindingcanbedefinedinthedefinitionofthetaskonthetabpage Triggeringevents .

Assigningtheobjectreferencefortriggeringevents
Ifyouwanttousethereferencetotheobjectwhosestatuschangetheeventreportsinthetaskorworkflow,
youmustassignthisreferencetoanelementofthetaskcontainerortheworkflowcontainer.

Inthetaskcontainer,thereferencetotheobjecttobeprocessedmustalwaysbelocatedinthe
element_WI_Object_ID.
Thereisnostandardelementfortheobjectreferenceintheworkflowcontainer.Youdefinethis
elementintheworkflowcontainerwithadatatypereferencetotherelevantobjecttypeandassignitthe
valueoftheelement_Evt_Objectfromtheeventcontainerinthebindingdefinition.
Assigningtheeventcreatorfortriggeringevents
Ifyouwanttousetheinformationabouttheuserunderwhoseresponsibilitytheeventwascreatedinthetask
orworkflow,youmustassignthisinformationtoanelementinthetaskcontainerorworkflowcontainer.
Theusernameoftheuserinwhoseapplicationtheeventwascreatedislocatedintheeventcontainerunder
theelementID_Evt_Creator.
Thereisnostandardelementforthisinformationinthetaskcontainer.Ifapplicable,youdefinethis
elementinthetaskcontainerwithadatatypereferencetotheABAPDictionaryfieldWFSYSTAGENT
andassignitthevalueoftheelement_Evt_Creatorfromtheeventcontainerinthebindingdefinition.
Theelement_WF_Initiatorintheworkflowcontainerisforthisinformation.Inthebindingdefinition,
