Lindsey ONeill
Warm, thick, full of life,
Cold, thin, sign
Of death,
Healing, giving,
Killing, taking,
Runs through veins,
Easily drains,
Gift from our Redeemer,
Poisoned by Deceiver,
Sustaining life,
Stopping life,
Gives some fear,
Brings some cheer,
Something vital
And so dear,
Keeps things going,
Never slowing,
Until that final day draws near
Gives life,
Gives death,
Takes life,

Takes death,
Leaves some grieving,
Can be relieving,
Leaves some losing,
Leaves some retrieving
