To whom it may concern: Thave had the priviledge of watching Ms. Nevius teach in the third grade at Boswell Elementary School this semester. Ms. Nevius had shown create adaptability in dealing with various personality and behavioral challenges. Ms. Nevius has also shown great creativity in activities to try and keep the students engaged and working hard. Ms. Nevius has shown great skill in being consistent with all students. Ms. Nevius treats all students the same and makes her expectations clear to students regularly Ms. Nevius has developed creative ways to get the students to settle down with various activities. Ms. Nevius has also shown an ability to stand firm despite attempts by students to manipulate her. Ms. Nevius has shown an ability to withstand tears and whining to try to get out of trouble, Ms. Nevius is also able to convey her displeasure with a student's behavior with a simple look or change in tone. Ms. Nevius also showed firmness on several occasions. Ms. Nevius required the students to practice lining up quietly after class was rude to a paraprofessional, believe Ms. Nevius has demonstrated the skills to become a great teacher.
