The History of Social Science

The Enlightenment of the 18th and 19th century is when Social Science became a more serious
branch of scientific study. As Darwins theories of man became to be more accepted and humans
were considered part of the natural world, scientists and philosophers were taking social science
more seriously. Auguste Comte coined the term Social Science in the 19th century. Before this it
was called
