semesterof2016,Iworkedcollaborativelywithpeerstocreateastudentinwhichwewouldrunacase
conferenceforinordertodeterminewhatwouldbethebestinterventiontechniquesandwaysthestudents
educationalteamcouldworktogether.
AnalysisofWhatILearned:ThroughoutthisprocessIlearnedtheimportanceoflookingatdifferentlearners
andlookingathowtheeducationalteamcanworktogethertobringthelearnertothestandardssetforthfor
them.Ilearnedhowimportantcollaborationisaspartofaneducationalteamtoensurethatthestudentisgetting
thesamesupportandlearningenvironmentsfromalleducationalstaffandparentsworkingwiththestudent.
HowThisArtifactDemonstratesmyCompetenceontheInTASCStandard:Inowunderstandhowtouse
therightlanguageindeterminingacaseconference.Ilearnedthattryingtocreateaninclusiveenvironmentis
betterthanjumpingintospecialeducation.Inowknowhowtosearchforthosecharacteristicsthatwouldshow
adevelopmentaldelayandhowtogoaboutincludingtheteamandparenttofindthebestresourcesfor
inclusivelearningandmeetingthestandardstheteamknowsthestudentcanmeet.Inmyfuturecareer,Iplanto
usethisstandardtobetterunderstandmystudentslearningwaysandknowhowtoincludetheminalearning
environmentthatwillbeinclusiveandhelpfulinorderforthemtoreachtheirgoalsandstandardssetforthfor
them.
