Topic/Title of Lesson: __Lets make a color age 3-5years
Goal: For children to experiment and experience creating new
colors from primary colors Objective: children will explain what occurred when they mixed one color with another. All children will use hands for this activity for a fun sensory experience. Procedure: First place shaving/ whip cream onto tray or table in two separate areas next to each other but spaced out enough so they are not touching, next get two different color food colorings and place 2-3 drops onto shaving cream with each set of shaving cream having a different color, next have child use hand to mix each set of shaving cream separately, finally have child use hands to combine the two colors that were mixed to create a new color
List Materials: shaving/ whip cream, food coloring, large
tray/ a table

What makes this activity Memorable and Meaningful for
young Children? Child will enjoy seeing how new colors are made from simple colors, and will have fun getting their hands messy at the same time.
