Journal of Business Research Analysis

YI TZU TAN
Feature:
The Journal of Business Research is a social science journal. The publisher is
Elsevier Inc., which owns the copyright. It is to gather the information and the research
between theoretical findings and practical situations and to show how the real business
world does. The feature of the journal is in the areas of accounting, finance, management,
marketing, risking and insurance, and so on. From my perspective, researchers and
scholars who are interested in the business field can use this material to do more
academic studies or to support their theories. And, people who are intended to do
marketing investment can use this material before involving in any business activities and
making decisions. The application of theory and research is welcomed not only in the
business field but also in law, urban affairs and psychology. These elements have
different influences in the market.
Introduce:
The first article was published in 1973. The chief editors are Naveen Donthu and
Anders Gustafsson. The journal is still active in present. Over 10 issues are released per
year. For decades, the journal has recorded the breakthrough and the changes of the
economy and the society. This shows that this journal is valuable and reliable. Thomson
Reuters Journal Citation Reports in 2016 showed that the impact factor of Journal of
Business Research in 2015 was 2.129. Due to this professional institution, we can know
how frequent this journal is cited.

Requirements:
There are some requirements before an article is submitted. Abstract, keywords,
introduction, materials and methods, results, conclusion, artwork and tables with
captions, these are essential in the content of an article. Besides, the certain font and the
total pages are requested. The journal is systemic and professional. I definitely think that
it is a huge benefit that readers can simply find the particular paragraph they need. The
company seems very cautious and well-prepared. They put every rule and every detail on
the website so people who would like to submit their articles can check it online.
