Class analyzation eportfolio


This class that I have taken this fall semester 2016 was health 1500 and how the professor
taught the course was a different style than any other course that I have taken here at salt lake
community college I enjoyed this course on the subject and was the class I decided to get out of
the other classes for this credit that is needed to complete for a general studies degree.
Throughout the semester we had an assignment that evolved the class to do a workout plan that
we had to come up with a fitness plan to how can work out for the week on what we did and
what exactly we did that could relate to exercising like for my plan I decided to work out on my
days off which are on Tuesday and Thursday and another day that I felt I could gather up enough
group of friends to go play basketball outside or inside the recreation center.
This class opened my eyes on health related topics that I never looked at before such as reading
labels on products at the groceries that I get and if it has carbs, fats, sugar, calories and protein
and I noticed that at first I mostly ate junk food and would eat out but now that I learned in this
class that you need to eat good to have a good healthy life by what you eat and drink also make a
difference in your body and the meals you eat at home will be better then fast food and eating
out.
I liked this class and made me want to come to class every time we had class since like how the
attendance counts by making in class lectures and talked about different subjects every week and
didnt need to buy the book since we went over all the chapters.
