INTRODUCTION
Hi, my name is, Paul Ramnora. I was born/brought up/and, do live in UK/London. My
current age is 47 years old.
Right throughout my life I've had the good fortune of being able to read poetry; indeed, my
favourite poet of all time is, Shakespeare; but, I never had the good fortune of being able to
write it; I might very rarely try a quick experiment or two; but, I never before in my life tried
creating a whole entire book full of poems; mainly, I guess, through believing that nobody else
would ever wish to go read it...?! However, now, that I've grown considerably older; I'm
starting to feel like everything is worth a try, at least, once; and, if you fail you fail; and, if you
succeed you succeed; and, either way, so what?!
My apologies if my poetry doesn't seem to follow any type of strictly 'fixed' format; but, that's
because I'm still working away on experimenting; trying to teach myself which is the best
format to use; for example, which visual layout does truly work best to suit which particular
poem.../or, should I write either formal/or, informal poetry...structured/or,
unstructured...rhymed/or, unrhymed...???/-Etc.
Finally, I would like to say, thanks very much, indeed, for sparing enough of your precious
time and effort to go read through these; and, hopefully, you will find the mental exercise to
be both enjoyable and worthwhile. ;-)

ACROSTIC
Meaning...
An acrostic poem is a composition where the sequential position of letters...say, first letter/or,
last letter...forms a word/or, even, possibly, forms a phrase; that is, when the poem is being
read going in strict order...say, vertically downwards. For example,...

HAIKU
Meaning...
A Haiku poem, -first originating from inside of Japan,- employs a pattern of using a certain
number of lines/with each line containing a fixed number of syllable sounds; usually, it is
written in the form of 3 lines with each line containing fixed syllable format: (5,7,5).

FREE VERSE
Meaning...
In this book , the term 'free verse' refers to poetry that is 'unrhymed'/as opposed to poetry
which does 'rhyme'.

2)
Agony...!
Every day
Just one same thought

...Agony...!
Always, agony
...
And,
I seem to be

Endless Agony

Rebellion
Therefore,
My looks/thinking/feeling/behaviour/acting/tongue
are all entirely different
to the rest of you;
because I was born to be
a total outsider.
6)
Rejection vs Acceptance
In some ways,
I kind of like rejection;
and, being all alone;
because, it sets me free,
to be exactly who it is that I do truly wish to be;
as opposed to how others do wish me to become,
which is a lot more like them;
by either conciously/or else, unconsciously
forcing me to go fit in
with others.

2)
It hit me;
And, when it hit me,
It hurt me awfully hard;
Struck me
through and through;
like I’d never ever been struck before;
Struck me
Somewhere near the very core
Of my being;
Repeated strikes,
All aimed straight into
The Unconscious!
1)
Hypnotism session
I'm afraid!
But, afraid of what, though?
Afraid of absolutely everything,
and, more..!
Hypnotize him,
Relax each muscle, one at a time,
Until when the body has been left totally limp;
Down, deeper down we go,
Into the pitch black darkness,
turning back through all the pages of Time;
that have been eternally etched
inside the endless groves of ones mind.
There he is,
My first cousin;
My mum's sister's son;
And, best friend;
As an only child
He is as close to me
As being an actual brother;
after all, we both grew up
inside of the one same family house.
1, 2, 3,
Fingers suddenly snapping,
And, a calm and gentle voice,
musically commands...
WIDE AWAKE!

1)
Procrastination...conquered, at last!

toooooooooooooooooo do
do want to,
do want to,
do want tooooooooooooo

FOOTNOTE(S)
NOTE(1):
This is my very 1st book of poetry; which, so far to date, I've decided to go build and publish
only online. However, in future, it is quite likely that I will change it into becoming 3 entirely
separate books, instead; namely...
1) Acrostic poems
2) Haiku poems
3) FREE Verse poems
...and, I might also add a book containing...
4) Rhyming poetry
NOTE(2):
This entire ebook was created with the FREE to sign up for, and, use Adobe Buzzword word
