Fixit 5 Group Charter Excerpts:

Expectations:

All team members are expected to fully participate and contribute. Per
Mike Markel (2016), and his take on collaboration, team members will be
required to maintain professionalism, honesty, and open mindedness. All
team members are expected, but not limited, to the following duties:

Accomplish all assigned tasks by the date indicated on the timeline

Attend all group meetings and class meetings
Communicate clearly and effectively with all team members
Be respectful of all team members
Update timesheet on a regular basis and honestly record hours
Bring all conflicts to the attention of the project manager

Failure to abide by the above expectations will result in disciplinary

action.

Conflict
Management:

Using the conflict management style from Killman and Burrell at MIT, if
conflict should arise between group members, the following steps should
be taken towards resolution:
1. Bring issue to the attention of the project manager
2. Project manager will hold a group meeting to discuss conflict
3. Create a plan to resolve conflict and prevent future conflict, agreed
upon by all members.
If all steps above are followed by the team members, and the conflict is not
resolved, the group should follow the guidelines outlined in the Steps for
Dismissal.
(Killman, 2001).
