DAY 2
Instilling a sense of accomplishment
1. Greet the children and ask if they
remember what they did in the
playroom in the previous week
2. Tell the story of how Mrs. Hen has
reached the top part of the shelf
to sleep in her barn.
3. Show the children a set of
stackers and demonstrate how to
make a tower if the pieces are
assembled on top of each other.
4. Gather ideas from the students
on how they think this toy works.

In batches of 3-5 students, give
each child a stacker set that they
would try to build up.
Gently remind each of them to be
patient and take their time in
case their tower falls-- they can
always try again.
Once everyone has tried, pair
them up and have a contest.
Once again, winners get 2 chips
and the the rest, 1 chip each.

DAY 3
1. Recall the important activities
done the previous week.
2. Let the children recall happy
events in the past meetings.
3. Ask if they remember how many
chips they have now.
4. Encourage the children not to be
let down by their chips because
there
would
be
more
opportunities for them to fish for
coins.
5. Show the children how the fishing
game works.
6. Pair them up and give each pair
one minute to catch as many sea
creatures as they can with their
fishing rods.
7. Give them coins according to the
number of their catch.

DAY 4
1. Ask the class: Are you ready to
get the ball rolling?
2. Bring out the inflatable balls.
3. Divide the class into two groups
and let them say hi to their
teammates.
4. Ask the children what the word
Team means.
5. Gather the childrens ideas and
tell them that they will be playing
with both their team and the
other team.
6. Ask for volunteers and show how
the relay works which consists of
rolling the ball back and forth
between the two teams.
7. Start with 1 minute and gradually
reduce the time, asking the
children if they could beat their
last time.
8. Congratulate every for a job well
done and reward each kid with 5
chips.
DAY 5
1. Greet everyone and ask: are you
ready for the last day of our
Preschoolympics?
2. Ask the children to retell what
happened the previous week.
3. Ask a few volunteers to show us

Tell the children that youre going
to use the same skill of ball
rolling in the next game event.
Bring out the bowling game set.
Ask what makes the bowling ball
different from the inflatable balls
used in the previous game.
Let the children guess the name
of the next game and how to do
it.
Let the students form a queue so
that each child may have his or
her turn in trying out the bowling
game.
Each child will get 3 tries to
knock the pins out.
The number of chips they will get
will correspond to the number of
pins they get to knock out in
those 3 tries.

DAY 6
1. Ask the children if they are ready
to get their awards.
2. Let the children share their most
favorite
part
of
the
Preschoolympics.
3. Have the children prepare their
chips and go shopping at the
Mini Grocery and Desert
Shop
4. Include Jellies in the things for

sale.
5. Surprise the children by giving
each a ribbon to take home for
participating
in
the
Preschoolympics
6. Congratulate
each
one
for
playing fairly.
