HLAC- LIFELONG WELLNESS APPLICATION PAPER


1. What did you learn about Lifelong Wellness from taking this class?
After taking this class I learned that Lifelong Wellness focuses on physical, social and
mental health.
2. How has learning about and applying Lifelong Wellness concepts impacted your life (home,
school, work, relationships, etc.)?
Learning about and applying Lifelong Wellness concepts, has made me a better person
in general. My relationship with my family has always been close but I became even closer with
my younger sister. As for school it feels like my stress levels have gone down. Not all of it
though but it feels like a huge amount of weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?
My intention to to continue to exercise in life, is to improve my mental and physical
health. These are the two major parts in my life that I want to make improvements in.
4. General Ideas for improving this course.
I had no problems with this class. I think its great just the way it is, but if I were to
change anything from this class it will be way we set up our yoga mats at the beginning of the
class. Instead of forming a circle at the beginning of the class, we should just line up our mats for
the whole class. That way we won't have to constantly be moving and figuring out how people
would line up their mats. It wasnt really a problem for though, its just a suggestion.
