It is difficult to remove oneself or know

if they are being abused emotionally in
a relationship without support from
friends and family. Whether you or a
friend is experiencing abuse from a
boyfriend or girlfriend, friendly
guidance and support provides a safe
place to think and eventually leave the
relationship. Find friends who will be
honest with you and have your back.

They were base support, they

(were there) for me no matter what
happened. (Participant 7)
