Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving
On November 24, 2016
Thanksgiving Day was upon us.
Thanksgiving morning I woke
up hugging my dog and my
family saying happy
thanksgiving. I sat down on the
couch watching the Macys
Thanksgiving Day parade.
Around 10 am my parents
started to cook everything for
the big thanksgiving dinner at
my uncles house. To me this is
a tradition; I always watch the
Charlie brown thanksgiving
special every thanksgiving
morning.

COOKING
My mom starts
cooking the rice
and my dad starts
with the chicken. Most of the
time we make or add some extra
stuff just in case their not stuffed
up yet. Everyone in my family
and relatives make something.
My uncle cooks the turkey
because he makes it better than
anyone in my family tree. I
usually help around the house so
it doesnt look like a mess after
we leave. Everyone in my
family helps around the house
like cleaning the cars, mowing
the front lawn, and cleaning up
the inside of the house. Around
five the food was ready and we
were ready to leave. It only took
a minute to get there because
they live so close to us.

SEATS
After getting there we all said to
each other Happy
thanksgiving. An hour after we
arrive we all started to go
around the table and the grace.

We really never liked seating

arrangements so here what we
Really did. All the adults went to
the media room to talk about
stuff and have a good time. The
kids went to the living room and
watched TV and played games.
The teenagers like me went to
my cousins room and watch
some scary movies and funny
ones. We never really liked
seating charts like the adults seat
here or the little ones like at this
table. Everyone wanted to seat
with their husband or wifes but
they could not so we were just
like forget about the seating
arrangements let everyone seat
where they want to.

Time to eat
Everything on the table looked
amazing the corn, chicken, rice,
and the turkey. I think I almost
grabbed everything on the table.
My family and relatives always
out do the last thanksgiving food
with something even better.
Almost everyone in my family
tree knows how to cook. I love
how they always try to make
everyone happy by making the
best thanksgiving food. They
take time on everything on
thanksgiving buy the most they
spend time on is the food.
Everybody there is always
happy.

After we eat
After we were done eating all of
us but not the adults played
some wired games. All the little
ones played the usually hide and
seek and tag. But the teens
played somethings different.
They do stuff like bored games
and videos games. The adults
really just talk about the trips
they took or some others stuff.
Families are supposed to bond

over thanksgiving and thats

what we do every thanksgiving.
If we care for each other we can
almost do anything. Everyones
done eating we all just talk and
bond at the same time. I always
want to hang out with everyone
but sometimes I dont get the
time to.

Timing Together
I always love how everyone is
smiling and having a great time.
Thanksgiving is a time where
everyone gathers around a table
and just talks about how
thankful everyone is to have
each other. I always think to
myself what did I do to deserve
this family how will do anything
for each other. I always think of
families a beacon of hope. Some
children dont even have
families and its sad how they
dont have families to do
thanksgiving. People hopeful
will try to help them by inviting
them into their family or just
invite them into their holiday
feast. I does not matter how
lonely you are on thanksgiving
someone will
always love you.
There is always
something to be
thankful for like god giving your
life. There is a gift inside us all
when we show it to each other.
You should never be alone
during thanksgiving people
should show how much they
love each other. Spending time
together is always fun because
everyone is happy and no one is
sad. After everyone was done
eating we went outside to the
backyard for a bonfire. We
roasted marshmallows and made
some smores and had a really
amazing thanksgiving.
