Synyster Gates Guitar and Music

I hope they realize
that music is music, and that
music is not a scene, not a
style. Music is a beautiful
thing to listen to. It is not a
thing to preach about, it is not
a
cause it's what it is, a beautiful
art form. This is a man who
is known for his great skill in
music. He looks like a typical
person from the metal scene.
The way where he wear his
clothes, the tattoos he wear,
and especially his guitar. His
signature guitar is c-1 schecter
guitar ,now with a sustainiac,
custom. His guitar ,based on
the schecter hellraiser, that
nice metal sound that a lot of
metalheads love.
Synyster Gates ,real name being Brian Elwin Haner, Jr, pick up the guitar early in his life
after his father ,Brian Haner otherwise known as the guitar guy and papa gates. Syn also begin
playing the guitar just to play jimmy page's solo, the guy from the band led zeppelin. As being in
metal band he would cite many famous people from the metal genre including: slash from guns
and roses, Dimebag from pantera, marty friedman from megadeth, and many others. As being a
metal fan he also enjoys jazz , classical ,and avant-garde. He even has a guilty pleasure in
enjoying Duran Duran.
Syn ,at an early age, always wanted to play the guitar. His grandparents decided to give
syn his first guitar. He began practicing days on out and as a jimmy page fan he began to learn
songs from led zeppelin. Syn kept on practicing especially on one song called stairway of
heaven. When Synyster Gates became a teenager he was able to listen to songs and able to
recognize chords. This was not an easy task for anyone especially at an early age. He would soon
able to play songs without any lessons and tabs or notes of sheets. Being great guitar he was able
to play songs by ear.
He would then start college ,but then would drop as he was invited to join avenged
sevenfold with his friends. Syn would become a lead guitarist in the band. He and other band
members would create their own music each album having its distinct sound. Syn usually play a
guitar solo on every song sometime in harmony with Zacky Vengeance, rhythm/ lead guitar
player.
