To whom it may concern,
I am currently pursuing my degree in Electrical Engineering and have an interest in an
internship with Sandia Laboratories. I am a highly driven individual with an intense attention to
detail. When it comes to learning and retaining new information and techniques I like to think of
myself as a fast learner, capable of adapting to complex situations. I also consistently uphold a
high level of professionalism when dealing with my colleagues and the public.
In my current position as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant with Tricore Reference Labs, I learned,
perform, and excel at a variety of job duties. These duties range from performing phlebotomy on
patients to creating, staining and sending out pathology samples for testing. In all of my duties I
maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency, no matter the workload. I also have been
involved in multiple team projects revolving around raising and maintaining my labs excellent
patient care. Specifically, I have lead Tricores Exceptional Patient Experience team and
consequently won 3 separate quarterly awards for patient satisfaction.
My experience in a laboratory environment makes me uniquely suited to working in professional
environments as well as capable of handling complex, and sensitive information. I believe I
would be well suited to work with professionals in the field at Sandia Laboratories, and believe
my personal skills would be a boon to those around me. Thank you for your time and
