E-portfolio/ Reflection
1. Writing- From writing I wanted to be more informed and given the tools to become an
educated writer. This class has added to I am because I am more informed and I am able
have more credibility in what I do.
2. Rhetoric- In this class we had a fantastic peer review process. Another thing we did was
analyze each of our topics in class which helped get a different perspective than what we
were already thinking.
3. Action- I have learned to be more self-conscience then act differently.
4. Deliberation- Going around having a class discussion about each of our topics was very
helpful, that and writing on the board a sentence of our papers to help revise it.
5. Engagement-The class had an inviting feel to it that there would be no judgement which
made it easier to relax and learn more from the class. I found it useful how to evaluate
web sources which is something I will use for the rest of my life.
6. Contingency-Even though it may have gotten tedious at times, it was good to stick with
one topic for the semester to explore more into it for different views and using a different
tone for each paper. It pushed us in different directions we may not have otherwise
thought of.
