Honor Flight Northern Colorado
Fall 2009-Present
Flight guardian in 2011, guiding a group of 12 WWII veterans on a 2 day trip through
Washington D.C, visiting the memorials built in their honor.
Displayed scratch built WWII Dioramas at various veterans and community events raising over
$1,000 for the Honor Flight of Northern Colorado
Art Studio open House to raise Money for the Navy SEAL Foundation
2014-Present
Organized an hosted biannual open houses of curated WWII toy soldier and diorama collection,
hosting over 500 visitors and raising over $1,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation
Journal for Undergraduate Research and Creativity
Spring-Fall 2014
Served as an editor for the internationally recognized peer reviewed undergraduate journal,
helped to connect undergraduate authors from all over the world with graduate and faculty to
review academic writings.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Inclusive Community Assistant with Colorado State University Residents life August 2016-present
Served as the single Inclusive Community Assistant for Newsom Hall bringing social justice
resources and education to over 400 residents and 15 student staff members.
Privately commissioned to create original WWII dioramas
August 2013-present
Restored and curated a collection of over 3,000 toy soldiers and 35 WWII dioramas, have created
an additional 13 dioramas from scratch.
Breakthrough Collaborative Dean of 7th Grade Students and Teachers
August-June 2016
Coached and instructed 13 college age teaching fellows in the art of classroom management and
behavior while being the primary disciplinarian for 65 7th grade students.
Colorado State University Honors Program Peer Mentor
August-December 2014, 2015, 2016
Co-taught a class of 20 first year honors students introducing them to the resources on campus
and how to navigate the University system.
Breakthrough Collaborative Kent Denver
7th Grade Physics Teacher
June August, 2013
o Taught three physics sections per day to classes of 12 students conducting experiments,
connecting content to real life applications, and getting them ahead in the academic
school year.
8th Grade Algebra Teacher
June-August, 2014
o Taught three sections of Algebra per day to classes of 12 students, collaborating with
other teaching fellows in the math department to created integrated and engaging
lessons.

9th Grade Biology


June-August, 2015
o Taught 2 sections of Biology class a day focusing on experimentation and high school
preparedness, additionally created a leadership program for over 60 9 th grade students
teaching them the tenants and applications of leadership.
