PSA Assignment Sheet

In groups of four you will work together to create a Public Service

announcement covering either information about suicide, how to help
someone in need of help, or how expressing emotions can help
someone going through a hard time. All of these projects will need to
include information used in this unit and will need to be cited correctly.
The way you present your topic is up to your group. You could do a
video, a poster, a comic strip, or any other idea your group comes up
with. Seeing as this is a group project you will need to contribute
equally.
If your project does not contain sources directly in the project
(i.e. can not be included verbally or visually) then you will need to
submit a short explanation of how your sources were used and how
they show up.
In order to get the materials you will need on the first day you
will submit a project proposal outlining what topic you will cover, how
you will present, and what materials/equipment you will need. Our time
to work on this project is short, and because it would be difficult to get
all four of you together outside of class you will need to stay on task
and focus.
On the last day of the unit we will present our PSAs to the class.
These will then be shared with the school at large to spread awareness
on this topic.
