ABSTRACT

The BITARA Research Team also known as BITARA Racing Team, is a club
under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam which takes part in
various motorsports events that consists of single-seater vehicle. They participate for
the design and dynamic events which incorporates internal combustion engines. The
team has participated in several events such as the Mechanical Design Day under the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam, Formula Varsity, EIMA Race
and FSAE ASEAN. The practical students who undergo training with the BITARA
Research Team are able to participate in these events. They are also able to engage in
various hands-on activities and manufacturing processes. Gaining knowledge and
taking part in fabricating a product with a detailed specifications is a very good
experience. Although the skill sets required for the task is great, through experience
in the BITARA Research Team production line, we can earn those skill sets.
The practical training given was highly relatable to the theoretical knowledge from
classrooms and within the range of the mechanical engineering scope.
