How Can You Help?

DONATE

help those who need us. To help donate, please visit

The American Red Cross begins today

the greatest single crusade of mercy in all
history Even our enemies know about the
American Red Cross because it has never
let international boundaries act as limits of
mercy. Wherever our fighting me are all
over the world the American Red Cross is
by their side, extending always the arm of
helpfulness and comfort.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1943

TAKE A CLASS
Become educated on what to do in an emergency. The
Red Cross provides classes to help save lives and
encourage people to respond to life-threatening events.
Millions of people gain lifesaving skills every year
including first aid, CPR, and much more.

DONATE BLOOD
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs
blood for a medical reason. More than 38,000 blood
donations are needed every day and just one pint of
blood could save as many as three lives. Consider doing
your part and donate blood at your nearest blood drive.

VOLUNTEER
Impact someone's life. Nearly 500,000 people give
their time to volunteer with the Red Cross. We train
volunteers and communities with the skills they need to
help those in need. Visit redcross.org/volunteer to find
