To Whom It May Concern:

I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Gloria Anguiano. Although I have only
known Gloria for the past four months as her current Academic Support teacher, I believe that I
have been witness to her rapid growth and maturation. As her Academic Support teacher, I have
had an opportunity to observe her participation and interaction in my class as well as her
progress in other courses. The Academic Support class focuses on making sound decisions and
setting and accomplishing realistic academic and personal goals. Gloria always conducts herself
in a responsible and attentive manner in class. She is conscientious and hard-working. Gloria is
consistently cooperative and respectful of teacher and peers. She has proven that through hard
work, follow-though, and teamwork, she can accomplish tasks in a courteous and timely manner.
Glorias academic attendance performance had suffered in past years due to choosing to not put
school first. However, Gloria did come to the realization that her education is highly important.
She also knows her future is her own to create, and has put forth full effort and dedication into
getting back on track and achieving her goals this year and beyond. Glorias current GPA of 3.57
this year reflects the significant changes she has implemented in order to be eligible for
graduation. She is well-equipped to grow from challenges that she is presented with.
Gloria has aligned her future goals with what she is personally passionate about: helping others;
further ensuring her ability to accomplish her goals in life. Her dedication to this cause exhibits
her qualities of compassion and empathy.
I strongly endorse the consideration of Gloria Anguiano for acceptance of scholarships and
admittance into post-secondary academic programs.
Sincerely,
Vanessa Brazil
