Dragon Paper Airplane

Thank you for supporting my how-to series, this week Im going to show you how to
create an awesome paper airplane that flies extremely far, fast, and straight. Its called
the Dragon and although the 9 different steps might seem intimidating at first, it is
relatively straightforward to make.
Materials

Paper (A4 size is preferred, Letter sized paper will require slight trimming, a new
sheet is advised if performance needs to be maximized)
Scissors (if non-A4 paper is used)

Instructions
1. Fold the paper in half horizontally.
Note: Try to fold the creases as sharply as possible for better performance.

2. Take a corner (orange dot) and fold it up and towards the center. That side will
become the front of the plane. Repeat on the other side as shown.

3. Take the dotted corner and fold it up into the center. Repeat for the other side.

Note: Try to get it as close to the center as possible as it can have an effect of how
well finished and perform the paper plane
4.

Take the nose of the plane (orange dot), and fold it up and back towards the
back so that the tip of the nose lines up with the edge of the paper.

5. Fold the outer edges (orange dot) towards the center on both sides.

6. Fold the nose of the plane back pointing the front as shown.

7. Fold the plane in half with the extra nose facing the outside along the red
dotted line as shown in the picture on the left.

8. If you are using Letter sized paper, trim the back of the plane to make the wings
shaped equally.

9. Fold the wings on both sides out along same line as the extra nose as shown (red
dotted line)

CAUTION: Caution children under the age of 12 should be accompanied

with adult supervision when using scissors.
Helpful Hint: To throw the plane as far as possible, the best place to grip the
plane is towards the rear of the extra nose section and throw it as hard as you
can while releasing it at an angle where the wings are pointed just above
horizontal.
