Earthquake Hazard rate in the United States

I chose to focus on earthquakes, since we do live in an area in which we are at high

risk. The maps show the rates in which earthquakes are more likely to occur. It
clearly shows that California is one of the states that is at a higher risk. Also, the
San Andres fault running through 800 miles of California makes earthquake even
more risky. It is very popular to hear that a big earthquake awaits to hit California,
maps show and prove that it is very possible.
