Statement
Mission: Create a comprehensive
school counseling program that
provides proactive leadership that
aligns and works with the school to
support the academic achievement of
all students as they prepare for the everchanging world of the 21st century.
Role and Function: The role and
function of high school counselors is to
help guide students throughout the
atmosphere of high school. This is a
time when teenagers begin separating
from their parents and begin defining
their independence while dealing with
personal and peer related concerns.
