PERMIT OF WASTE WATER DISPOSAL INTO SEA

Disposal of waste water into the sea (discharge) is the process of disposal
residue of business and / or activity of the production process in a liquid form to
sea continuously and / or periodically. Every business and / or activities that
make the disposal of waste water into the sea shall obtain permission from
Minister.

Applicants for wastewater discharge into the sea must complete the requirements in
Appendix I and II of PermenLH No. 12 of 2006 regarding Permit Requirements and
procedure of disposal of waste water into sea. Minister / Governor will issue or deny
the permit application for the disposal of waste water into the sea later than 90
working days after the permit application is received. Permit discharge of
wastewater into the sea is valid for 5 years.
