Euthanasia in the perspective of human rights is a violation because it involves the

right to life of patients who must be protected. In terms of legislation today, there
has been no new arrangements and complete information about euthanasia. The
article that can be used as a legal basis for further discussion is what is contained in
the Code of Penal Indonesia (KUHP), especially the chapters that talk about crimes
involving human soul. Article closest to the issue of legal regulation contained in
book 2, Chapter IX Article 344 Penal Code (KUHP).
In Article 25 of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights contained provisions that
related to the protections of health, which are indirectly related to the right to
receive health care services. Protection of health defined in Article 12 of the
definitive approval of the United Nations as follows: First, countries which are
parties to this agreement recognize the right of everyone to the health of body and
soul, which are made as possible. Second, the measures must be taken by the
countries that are party in this agreement, in order to realize this right as possible.
