CHAPTER 1

INTODUCTION OF THE ISSUE

Teenage pregnancy is pregnancy in human females under the age of 20. A

girl can become pregnant from sexual intercourse after she has begun
to ovulate which can be before her first menstrual period (menarche) ,
but usually occurs after the onset of her periods.
I believe that home and school are areas for character and personally
implications. So does the responsibility rely on both teacher and
especially to the people who is with them in their homes or parents.
This

it is and how it degrades the feminine reputation.

CHAPTER 2
SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDYING THE ISSUE
Most teenage girls dont plan to get pregnant but many do. Teen
pregnancies carry extra health risks to both the mother and the baby.
So I choose to study this issue because the importance of this is for
us to be aware for the teenage pregnancy. This issue is not only about
awareness of girls through teenage pregnancy but this issue tells that
boys must be also aware for everything they do. I think that this
issue is one of the problems not only in Montfort technical institute
but all the schools. The generation today is getting worse in their
doing or activity so this issue I think is the most effective to
promote awareness in teenage pregnancy.
Teenage pregnancy must need to be taken care of at its early stages,
and must be aided before it gets uncontrolled. The teenagers need to
be aware of the consequences of teenage pregnancy and how to avoid it.
This will help lessen and avoid poverty, abortion, early marriage,
divorces, and many more issues in the society.

RESEARCH PROCESS

What is Survey? survey are a method of gathering information from

individuals. Survey have a variety of purpose, and can be conducted in
many ways. Surveys may be conducted to gather information through a
printed questionnaire, over the telephone, by mail, in person, by
diskette, or on the web. It involves asking people for information in
some structured formats.

My research process begin with an interview and survey to the senior

high school students

who is the main

topic of awareness in teenage

pregnancy. I interview and conducted a survey in 20 senior high school

students in montfort technical institute,and many almost all students
said that they are aware of this teenage pregnancy because some of
their teachers are advising them to think twice before doing
something.

PROJECT LOCATION AND SAMPLE POPULATIONS

The project location is at Montfort technical institute in

Poblacion,

New Washington Aklan. The place were I conducted my interview about

general awareness in teenage pregnancy. The total number of senior
high school students are 92 to be exact. There are 35 students in
grade 11-st. anne the general academics strand (GAS), and 21 in grade
11 st. monica (TVL), and 36 in grade 11 st. Bernadette the automotive
(TVL).
