Eligibility/ Mode of selection:-
 
A candidate passing any one of the following
examinations from recognized
School/College/ Institute located within NCT
of Delhi and securing minimum 60% marks in
the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics (PCM) shall be eligible for
admission provided that he/she has passed in
each subject separately:

 Senior School Certificate Examination


(12-year course) of the CBSE.
 Indian School Certificate Examination
(12-year course) of the CISCE.
 B.Sc (General) or B.Sc. (Hons)
examination of a recognised university
with combination of PCM with minimum
aggregate of 60% marks.
 Any other examination recognized as
equivalent to the Senior School
Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.
by the University.
 10% relaxation in marks for SC/ST
candidates and 5% for Physically
Handicapped/ Defence category
students.

A candidate must additionally have


passed English as a subject of study of
the Senior School Certificate
Examination Level (Core or Elective).

Regional allocation of seats:-

(i) Delhi Region – 85% seats are allocated


for students passing from the recognized
Schools/Colleges/Institutions located within
the NCT of Delhi.
(ii) Outside Delhi Region – 15% seats are
open for students passing from the
recognized Schools/Colleges/Institutions
located outside the NCT of Delhi.

Note : the admission under 85% for


Delhi quota and 15% for All India quota
will be made in DTU strictly on All India
Overall Rank obtained in AIEEE 2010.

 Counselling

Applicants are required to come for


counselling/ admission as per schedule given
in the Prospectus. Candidates are required to
bring necessary documents and prescribed
fee at the time of counselling to secure
admission.  

 How to apply

Candidates can obtain the Prospectus and


Application Form the Counter at Delhi
Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur,
Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 either in person
on payment of Rs. 750/- by Demand
Draft, or by post on remitting a DD of Rs.
850/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, DTU
and payable at Delhi. The Application Form
can also be downloaded from University
website www.dce.edu and submitted
alongwith DD of Rs. 750.

 Important dates

release of Application Forms
(ii) 07.06.2010 (Monday): Last date for
receipt of request for Application Forms by
Post
(iii) 21.06.2010 (Monday): Last date for

 Eligibility/ Mode of selection:-

Besides having secured minimum 60% marks


in the prescribed qualifying examination, a
candidate needs to have a valid GATE score
to secure admission in a full-time M.Tech.
programme. Those applying for the part-time
course, need not to have GATE score but
should be employed with minimum one-year
experience at the time of admission.

All the applications received will be short


listed on the basis of performance in GATE
and qualifying examination for Full-time and
Part-time Programs respectively. The short
listed candidates will be called for interviews
as per the following schedule.

(c) How to apply


Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech.
courses in DTU can obtain the Prospectus and
Application Form either in person on
payment of Rs. 1000/- by DD, or by post
on remitting a DD of Rs. 1100/- drawn in
favour of the Registrar, DTU and payable at
Delhi. The Application Form can also be
downloaded from www.dce.edu and
submitted alongwith DD of Rs. 1000/-.

(ii) 15.06.2010 (Monday): Last date for
receipt of request for Application Forms by

 Eligibility/ Mode of selection:-

(i.) For engineering Disciplines: M.E./


M.Tech. in appropriate, branch from a
recognised University/ Institution, with
minimum 60% marks.
(ii.) For Applied Sciences: M.Sc. in
appropriate branch from a recognised
University/ Institution, with minimum 60%
marks.

Eligible candidates will be selected on the


basis of personal interview conducted by the
University Research Council.

(c) How to apply


Prospectus along with the application form
can be obtained from DTU Campus either in
person on submission of a Demand Draft/Pay
Order of Rs. 1000/- or by post on remission
Rs. 1100/- by a Demand Draft / Pay Order,
drawn in favour of the Registrar, DTU, Delhi
and payable at Delhi.
