INTRODUCTION:
Managing of money by College Students have different manner. There
are many factors affecting their expenditures. Their spending defend on the
Nature of their life. Students who are living with their family are different
with students who are away and not with their families. The source of
money/allowance of the students also affects the way they spend; if the
student is dependent or not to their parents.
This research has the purpose of better understanding of the spending
pattern of College Students of different universities around Tuguegarao City.
Specifically the spending pattern of Students who are studying at Private
Colleges compared to Students who are at Public Colleges.
Spending of money by Students is based on their everyday activities
such as School-related activities, Self/Social-related activities, Religiousrelated activities and other activities. Later on, we will find out which activity
has the largest percentage of spending.
Through floating of questionnaires, this research will be able to know
the significant difference of the Spending patterns of Public and Private
School Students. Various field of Specialization/Courses will be surveyed and
not only concentrating on a Single field.
General statement/objective:

To conduct a comparative study between the spending pattern


of Public and Private school students around Tuguegarao City.

Specific statement/objectives:

To determine the budgeting preparation of students along the


following school-related activity, social-related activity, religious

activity and others.


To determine the spending pattern differences between Students
with their family and students which are away from their families

based on their budgets.


To determine the source of money/allowance of students.
