Two examples of professional orientation

I.

THE JOBS WEEK

The beneficiaries are students in the inferior cycle of high-school in order to
prevent early school drop out and to have a good orientation of our students
for the jobs they can train for in the second cycle of high-school.
During The jobs week there were organized activities where students could
practice seven different professions. They chose to take part in one or several
activities. They had to perform activities particularized for the job they had
chosen. Thus, they were able to get an overview of that job and they could
answer the question: whether they could see themselves practicing that
profession in the future.
These activities were conducted in laboratories and school workshops, but
also in a local company.

II. THE CARAVAN OF HIGH-SCHOOL OFFERS

The beneficiaries are students in general schools that can become students in
our high-school in the future school-year after the graduation of the
elementary educational level.
The caravan of high-school educational offer presented the professional
qualification provided by our school:
- 18 teachers and some students from our school visited 30 schools from our
area. They presented our offers to the students from elementary schools. This
activity was carried on between 26.04-17.05.2013
-Also it was continued in the School educational offers fair where we had a
stand. At this educational fair participated 6 teachers and 20 students from
our school. Our teachers and students presented our qualification offers. They
provided answers to the students from elementary schools. This activity was
carried on between 1.06-3.06.2013
-The days of the open doors action have been held between (30-

31.05.2013). The students from general schools visited our school to see the
classrooms, laboratories, the school campus, the canteen and to meet our
students.
