On 20" October, 2016 he was deputed from his parent bank, the State Bank of India, to the State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. Based on his profile he has been assigned the position of Managing Director of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. In his role as Managing Director of the Bank, Shri Mohanty is responsible for the progress of the Bank and to take SBBJ to greater heights in terms of profitability of the Bank and also to see to the all round development of staff and to eliminate the grievances of the customer in large. Shri Dibakar Mohanty joined State Bank of India on 2" December, 1982 as an officer on probation in the JMGS-I cadre. He was elevated to passing officer on 06.03.1985, Field officer on 01.08.1988. He became Branch Manager at Kalyaninagar on 22.07.1991. Thereafter, handling two more branches as a Branch Manager in Karanjia and Purusottampur, he was posted as Manager, training at STC, Gopalput on 26.09.1994, He was then again promoted as Chief Manager, Paikpara on 05.01.1999 and then he was elevated as SMGS-V in Ouat Campus, Bhubaneswar. He was Regional Manager R-I at Zonal office, Sambaipur and RBO, Angul from 21.04.2004 to 21.05.2006. He also was posted at LHO, Bhubaneswar as Asst General Manager, Lead Bank on 22.05.2006 and then posted as Controller, Region I, Bhubaneswar. He was then again promoted as Deputy General Manager and was posted at LHO, Kolkata as DGM (Per. Banking Unit) from 01.10.2009. He was then after successful stint as DGM promoted as General Manager of Network III, LHO, Mumbai from 09.11.2013 to 04.07.2015. He was then promoted as Chief General Manager, Financial Control at Corporate Centre, Mumbai on 05.07.2015. and then again as Chief General Manager, , Mumbai. From State Bank of India he was deputed to State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur as Chief General Manager (OSD) and then he was designated as Managing Director, State Bank of Bikaner from 01.11.2016 till date, He has done his masters in Chemistry and he is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIB). He has worked in various assignments and has experience spanning over three decades at various offices of state Bank of India. In his career as a banker, Shri Mohanty handled various assignments in rural, semi-urban and metro branches across the country. Throughout this time he has successfully handled various critical assignments both {in Operating as well as Administrative units.
