Group work: 5-6 members

Choose a straightforward topic, preferably related to your area of
studies
You should use questionnaires as your research instrument.
Limit your respondents to 30 students.
Write an investigative report to demonstrate your skills in simple
research, selection of information, and report structuring and
writing.
A 3-4 page proposal MUST be submitted for respective lecturers
approval by Week 4. The proposal must include:
1. Background (2 pages)
2. Terms of reference
3. Purpose ( identify at least 3 purposes)
4. Scope defined
5. Method
The complete report must follow the following structure:
1. Cover/ Title page
2. Content page
3. List of tables/figures
4. Acknowledgement
5. Summary/Abstract ( page)
6. Introduction (3-4 pages)
7. Findings(with graphical representation: 4-5 pages)
8. Conclusion ( page)
9. Recommendation ( page)
10. References/bibliography
11. Appendix/appendixes
Page specifications:
1. Length of the report : 10-12 typed pages (excluding
cover page, content page, list of tables/figures,
acknowledgment, references and appendices)
2. Font Type: Times New Roman
3. Font Size: 12
4. Line spacing : 1
5. Alignment: Justified
The cover/front page of your paper should contain the following
information: MMU letterhead, Course code & name, Full name of
the group members with Student ID, Lecture group number and
Lecturers name.

Group work: 5-6 members

10 minute preparation time
Conduct a 20 minute formal meeting based on a given problem
statement or stimulus related to workplace situations

tools for recording purpose
Only digital copy must be submitted for assessment.

Background section of the report must include proper

acknowledgment of other writers work in the APA form of in-text
citation e.g. (Ellis, 2009).
Only legitimate information and ideas will be accepted.
APA style reference list must be provided at the end of the paper.
All and only works cited in the text should be included. This
reference list will not be considered as part of the twelve page
limit.

Same groups are maintained for the first and second coursework assessment.
Please ensure that each group comprises of members who are from different races,
gender and/or nationalities.
Groups which do not comply with the above requirement will be penalized.
