One year to challenge your thinking,

change your outlook and choose your future.

Choose your Future

With three fully integrated campuses in Europe, Asia and
the Middle East, and over 75 different nationalities in
the classroom, INSEAD is the only business school that
offers such a multicultural experience. The accelerated
10-month curriculum develops successful, thoughtful
leaders and entrepreneurs who create value for their
organisations and their communities. Drawing the best
and brightest individuals, the INSEAD MBA opens doors
to both outstanding career opportunities worldwide and
minds to new ways of thinking. Our alumni often say that
their year at INSEAD was life-changing.

Excellent Career Opportunities

INSEADs portfolio of recruiters is one of the largest in the world,
providing our graduates with a myriad of career opportunities.
Our Career Development Centre will help you choose your ideal
career path and support you through the job search process.
Fully integrated across the three campuses and staffed by over
40 career experts (advisers, workshop facilitators and sector
specialists), the Centre recently expanded its services to provide
personalised career support for every student. This begins with
online video learning before the programme starts and extends
long after they become alumni.

The full range of support and facilities includes: self-assessment

and career planning sessions, CV and interview workshops,
online tutorials, our own CareerGlobe jobs database, on-campus
company presentations and recruitment and career development
centres with video conference interview suites. In addition,
INSEAD runs an annual Career & Networking Forum in Dubai
that focuses on career opportunities in the Middle East.

Elective Courses

Campus Selection & Exchange

From Period 3, INSEAD offers you a range of over 75 electives.

While some students prefer to concentrate on certain disciplines,
such as entrepreneurship or strategy, others choose to take
courses in a wider variety of subjects to prepare for a career
in general management.

When you apply, you will be asked to indicate your starting

campus preference: Europe (Fontainebleau) or Asia (Singapore).
If you do not have any starting campus preference, you will
be able to select both campuses in your application form.
Your campus preference will not affect your admission into the
programme. However, there may be rare instances where you
may be asked to start on the other campus, should one reach its
maximum capacity.

Elective examples:

Applied Corporate Finance

Communication & Leadership
Identifying New Business Models
Management Decision Making
Market Driving Strategies
Mergers, Acquisitions, Alliances & Corporate Strategy
Realising Entrepreneurial Potential

We also offer a range of popular electives that take learning

beyond the classroom. Courses such as Building Businesses
in China or Building Businesses in Silicon Valley are some
examples of field trips that give you the opportunity to meet
a variety of alumni, entrepreneurs and executives in different
countries, allowing for unique hands-on learning.
You may also choose to do an Independent Study Project on an
area that particularly interests you under the mentorship of a
faculty member.
In addition, students of the September intake can apply to take
part in a module based on the Abu Dhabi campus, while students
of the January intake have the option of a study trip to Abu Dhabi.

All students will have the opportunity to spend at least one

period on the other INSEAD campus from Period 3 onwards.
Depending on your intake (January or September), you may
also choose to spend Period 4 or 5 at one of our partner schools
(Wharton, Kellogg or CEIBS).
Wharton (Philadelphia) and Kellogg (near Chicago) will be of
particular interest to those seeking to build a career or network
in North America or simply to experience a top U.S.
business school.
CEIBS (Shanghai) available only to January starters offers an
inside view of the worlds most dynamic economy and a head start
for anyone hoping to do business in China.
All INSEAD students who choose to go on exchange at any of our
three partner schools will be offered full access to their career
support and services during the exchange period.

Admissions Process

International Motivation
Adaptability and flexibility in
multicultural environments

After the first round of selection, two interviews with alumni

will take place in your country of residence. Your file will then be
presented to the Admissions Committee, which is comprised of
both faculty and alumni, before the final decision is made. It takes
up to 10 weeks from the admissions deadline to the final decision.

Financing
Most students cover the costs of fees and living expenses through
a combination of: personal savings or family support; sponsorship
by an employer; scholarships; and loans. Of those graduating in
2015, 12% received company sponsorship and 20% received loans
from Prodigy Finance: https://prodigyfinance.com

Language Policy
Our MBA programme is taught exclusively in English. Therefore,
fluency is a prerequisite. If English is neither your mother tongue
nor the language in which your university degree was taught,
you will need a certification of proficiency in English such as
the TOEFL or IELTS. If English is your mother tongue, you will
instead need to provide proof of intermediate-level ability in one
other official language. By graduation, all students will have to
demonstrate basic-level ability in a third language.

Once you have been shortlisted for an interview, you can apply
for an INSEAD scholarship. INSEAD distributed 3.1 million in
scholarship funding to the 2015 graduating classes and 22%
of students received awards averaging 13,600. There are
two types of scholarships:
Need-based: applicants must provide accurate
financial information
Merit-based: usually allocated on the basis of academic merit,
nationality, gender or educational/professional achievements.
Tuition Fees
The fees for the INSEAD MBA 2017 graduating class are 71,000.
Tuition fees will be reviewed and subject to change for
each intake.

Application Deadlines

Meet Us

We operate a staged admissions process, with four deadlines

for each of the two intakes per year. Competition for each of
the rounds is equal, but the earlier you gain admission, the
more time you have to secure financing and arrange logistics.
The online application form typically opens two months before
each application deadline.

We would be delighted to meet you at one of our regular

information sessions and campus tours which are held on
Friday afternoons at 2pm on both the Fontainebleau and
Singapore campuses. We also host events regularly in
different cities around the world.
