- Process objectives indicates that PPC is
responsible for forecasting and ordering of indirect
materials, question o the definition of direct and
indirect materials.
- Question on applicability of procedure 1 under
preparation of production schedule stating a cut off
of obtaining delivery requirement for the following
month before the last week of the current month.
- Inputs needed for the effective preparation of
production schedule such as the process for
assessing the necessary resources for meeting
customer requirements so that, appropriate action
can be done in case resources are not available
(i.e. manpower, materials, jigs, etc.) is not clearly
defined in the procedure.
- Question on procedure 11 under preparation of
production schedule, what is the purpose of
preparing monthly incoming semi finished schedule
based on the finalized production schedule. Quite
confuse with the transaction between Kapco and its
Customers?
- Procedure for handling production change request
does not fully cover the requirement of ISO
standard. The standard states that changes or
amendments with order or customer requirements
must be reviewed before acceptance. Evidence of
review and action arising from the review must be
maintained.
- Situations or cases that will trigger production
change request including responsibility for
managing this process should be defined.
- Quality Manual Matrix and appointment letter not
yet included
