To Whom It May Concern:

I have had the great privilege of watching Miss Esther Greenwood grow
over her time at Ladies Day Magazine. She is an extremely bright young
woman, full of brilliant ideas for columns and a beautiful creative eye for
layouts. Not only is she a strong example inside the office, but she is also a
kind and strong young woman. Miss Greenwood is a go-getter; she sets
goals for herself and they are quickly achieved. No matter what you request
she accomplish, she will have it completed in less time than you allotted. I
have faith that if I asked Miss Greenwood to fetch me the moon by supper, it
would be sitting in my office next to a bouquet of violets by 2:15!
Miss Greenwood came to us fresh from Smith College, where she
graduated top of her class. We did not intend to hire an intern so green;
nonetheless, in her interview, Miss Greenwood soared above and beyond.
Though she comes across serious and occasionally sad, Miss Greenwoods
fresh face, her extraordinary vocabulary, and her impeccable listening skills
bloom as you unfold a conversation with her. Here at Ladies Day, we do not
choose our Honorable Interns with haste. Miss Greenwood, though the
youngest, displayed her strength of character through her care for the
magazine. She often stayed to help the managing editors finish their layouts
long after the other interns had gone home. She is punctual, honest, and
above all, experienced. Though Miss Greenwoods college publications may
seem small, have faith that they trained her brilliantly. I cannot recommend
Miss Esther Greenwood with more enthusiasm.

If you would like to speak to me regarding Miss Greenwood further,

please do not hesitate to call 212-649-2000.
Sincerely,
Ms. Dorothy McKay
