AbstractAt every startup of 600 MW power unit of Shenhua Guangdong Guohua

Diantaishan Electric Power Co.,Ltd., large vibration occurs at condensate recirculating
pipelines. Through analysis, vibration is generated by cavitation erosion occurred when
condensate passing through recirculating control valve and by extreme impact from
steam-liquid two-phase flow. Condensate control valve has been retrofitted by labyrinth
structure control valve. Labyrinth core is designed as such structure with 12 decompression
curved conduit and nominal diameter of inlet and outlet pipelines will be changed into 200
mm from 100 mm. After retrofit, vibration of condensate recirculating pipelines is eliminated.
