THE NOVEMBER SALON OF VISUAL ARTS, with its sixteen

years of continuous and open approach, has managed to
maintain a distinctive position of important strongholds
and incentives of the contemporary art scene. To support
this, it is not just the duration, but as well many significant
names of artists, curators and selectors that have built,
created and somehow maintained and focused attention
to contemporary art.
The purpose of the exhibition is an affirmation of the
artist and the art, specifically the review and interpretation
of contemporary recent tendencies, models of thought and
micro-narratives. In addition, this exhibition forms conceived
as a general form of reviews, contribute to greater socialization
of contemporary art and its visibility outside the art centers.
It is our wish the Salon becomes recognizable and regionally
be positioned in the cultural calendar, which in addition to the
participation of a significant number of established artists, from
year to year, confirms the growing the presence of the artists
from Kraljevo, aak, Novi Pazar, Kragujevac, Uice, Gornji
Milanovac and other cities. In addition, a permanent response of
artists from the former Yugoslavia and abroad contributes to its
promotional role and cultural legitimacy.
This years Salon is multiply significant, primarily because
of the presence of a large number of artists middle and
younger generation, but also as an important step in improving
communication and transparency required of contemporary art.
Specifically, in addition to the Gallery Association of Fine and
Applied Artists Kraljevo, the exhibition will for the first time be

presented in the Gallery of the National Museum, which

will contribute to greater transparency and the quality
of interpretation.
The November Salon does not have a pre-set thematic
and / or a problem-solving framework, which production
and reception contributes an encounter and consideration
of various artistic ideas and contents. At this years Salon, 53
papers were presented by the authors and of a wide range of
generation, media and poetic bit scattered. In such a multitude
of art discourse, we see different artistic directions, which are, as
a reflection on modern society, contextually specified culturally,
ideologically, economically and politically. In that manner the
Salon actualizes decentralized and multiplied position of art
today, offering a rizomathic movement and interweaving of
represented authors.
Taking into consideration the aforementioned multiple
contexts of art, which are read in synergy of works presented,
the jury of this year November Salon has had a serious and
difficult task. Although the winning project was singled out its
media and metaphorical strength, it is important to emphasize
that in the final results of work allocated a larger number of
artists, mostly the younger generation: Nina Gali, Mirza Deda,
Tijana Radenkovi, Jovana Banjanac, Bojana Stamenkovi and
others, whose works were prudent and critically designed,
primarily against the modern system of values governing artistic
paradigm and construct theories of art. Bearing in mind all of
these qualities and creative potential the jury has awarded the
following authors:
