There have been 68 hospitalizations due to influenza so far this season. Influenza Related Deaths: There were 0 confirmed deaths due to influen- za, ity in Georgia Viral Surveillance: Of the 350 specimens tested by Georgia clinical labora- tories reporting to the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) during week 51, 42 (12.00%) were positive for influenza. Public Health Laboratories tested 8 specimens during week 51, 5 were positive for influenza. Reported Influenza Outbreaks: There were 0 outbreaks reported to pub- lic health during week SI RSV Viral Surveillance: Of the 149 specimens tested and reported by the Georgia Public Health Laboratory (GPHL) and the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) collaborating laboratories during week 51, the percent positive of ALL laboratory tests was 28.86%.
