Subject: PROPOSED STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF 3-STOREY

Good day!
We are pleased to offer herewith for your kind consideration our proposal for the
Structural and Architectural Design Services.
1. Scope of Work
Part I. (Structural)
a.) Anticipated gravity loads such as dead, superimposed dead and live loads, as
well as transient loads like wind and seismic loads coming from four cardinal
directions, shall be calculated to comply with the requirements of the
Structural Code of Philippines. Foundation shall be analyzed using the data
from the Geotechnical study or parameters provided by the client.
b.) A mathematical model of the structure based on the architectural plans shall
be reviewed using STAAD Pro V8i and manual computation in Microsoft Excel
using AISC LRFD code, AISC 341-05 and AISC 358-05 seismic detailing.
c.) Results from the structural analysis will then be detailed to show required
connection and dimensions of the structural members. Sections and spot
details will be developed to a complete set of Structural Drawings.
Part II. (Architectural)
Architectural Elements such as:
a.) Perspective (Exterior)
b.) Site Development Plan
c.) Floor Plans
d.) Elevations
e.) Sections
f.) Reflected Ceiling Plan
g.) Schedule of Doors and Windows
h.) Blow Up Plans for Kitchen, Toilets and Stairs
i.) Schedule of Finishes
2. Work Schedule and Project Deliverables
a.) The services will undertake within 30 days or as agreed by the owner. Final
schedule and design consultation (if needed) maybe be set at a later time.
b.) Deliverables shall include ten (10) set of Structural and Architectural
Drawings (20x30 size) and Structural Calculation Report (A4 Size). Soft copy
of plans and calculations shall be provided.

3. Professional Fee
Our fee for the provision of the services from the preceding section, Scope of
Work shall be EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS Only (PhP 80,000.00). Or ONE
THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED US DOLLARS Only (USD 1,700.00).
4. Limitation and Exclusions
The scope of services for this project only covers the items described in
Section 1 above. The consultancy services do not include the application, liaison
or securing of government permits and clearances related to construction of any
kind. The services further exclude full time construction supervision and technical
service support except for clarification of issued design.
5. Terms of Payment
The terms of payment shall be as follow:
Upon Start of Design Services --- 50%
Upon acceptance of the client --- 50%
