Target audience

My target audience for this production is young males from teenagers to middle
aged. The reason for my target audience being male is due to the violence and
action that can be seen within the production. Also like most war films, including the
ones that I have deconstructed for my research, the protagonists and almost all other
main characters are male, this may allow the viewers to be able to easily relate to
the characters. The action will attract the younger viewers such as teens and young
adults but the more emotional parts of the production will appeal more to the older
viewers, this can be seen in my film deconstruction of Band of Brothers where the
main characters are shown in a deeper and more human way by spending time with
them outside of the battles and showing the emotions behind the soldiers. The bbfc
rating that i have given my production is a 15 which will allow the entirety of my
target market to view this film.
