Government A 2 MB Popular Vote

Should constitutional amendments be proposed and ratified by direct popular vote?

Constitutional amendments should not be proposed and ratified by direct popular

vote. The Constitution was purposely made so that it was extremely hard to change any
laws and amendments that are included. The authors of the Constitution did this in order
to sustain a steady government. If laws and amendments in the Constitution can be easily
changed by direct popular vote, which can be easily swayed back and forth, then we have
lost the foundation of the government. There doesnt remain a rock solid set of laws that
limits or guides any particular group.
